Appointment Policies

  • 24-Hour Notice Required: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for all cancellations or rescheduling requests. This allows us time to offer the appointment slot to clients on our waiting list.

  • Late Cancellations/Reschedules: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or changes made within that window, will be charged 25% of the scheduled service cost to the card on file.

  • No-Shows: Clients who do not show up for their appointment without any notice will be charged 25% of the scheduled service cost.

  • Consultation Fees: All consultation fees are non-refundable and are not credited toward future service appointments.

Policies for All Services

  • I hereby consent to and authorize the stylist at The Nappy Hutt to perform the requested service(s).

  • I release The Nappy Hutt, its owners, employees, and representatives from any liability, claims, or actions arising from the services provided. I confirm all information provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge.

  • I consent to The Nappy Hutt using photographs of my hair for promotional purposes, including social media, advertising, and portfolios.

Policies for Color Services

  • Hair Health Priority: I understand that The Nappy Hutt prioritizes hair integrity. Services that compromise the health of my natural hair (e.g., extreme lifting to platinum or complex balayage/highlighting techniques) are not offered.

  • Service Limitations: I understand that this appointment is for a single-process color application (permanent or semi-permanent) or gloss/toner service, and does not include complex color corrections or blending services.

  • Realistic Expectations: I understand that results may vary based on my current hair condition, previous color history, texture, and at-home care regimen. The Nappy Hutt cannot guarantee specific, exact results (e.g., matching a photo precisely).

  • At-Home Care: I understand that proper aftercare is essential for maintaining the results and health of my colored hair. It is my responsibility to follow the stylist's instructions and use recommended professional products (Shawntel Marie / Kings Solution lines).

  • Pricing & Timing: I have discussed the estimated cost and duration of this service with my stylist. I understand that the price may change if additional product or time is needed to achieve the desired outcome safely.

  • Health & Safety: I understand that while all care is taken to provide the highest quality service, potential risks are involved with any chemical hair services, including, but not limited to: hair damage, scalp irritation, allergic reactions, or unexpected color results.
